06 - Top with a thin slice of cucumber and garnish with a dill sprig. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The Benedictine spread is a savory secret that always turns curious nibblers into instant fans.
  • There&aposs no cooking involved, which means more time for fun conversations and less time sweating over a stove.
02 -
  • If you don&apost squeeze the grated cucumber thoroughly, the spread can turn watery and sad on your platter.
  • Letting the Benedictine chill for ten minutes makes a huge difference—the flavors fully develop and it spreads much easier.
03 -
  • A serrated knife makes slicing bread rounds cleaner and helps avoid squishing them.
  • Blend the Benedictine in two parts if doubling the recipe—the mixer can bog down otherwise.
