# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Cut each sandwich bread slice into elf shoe shapes using a sharp knife or an elf shoe-shaped cookie cutter; reserve or discard scraps.
03 - Arrange shaped bread pieces on the baking sheet and brush lightly with melted butter.
04 - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.
05 - Place toast bites on a serving board, dividing into savory and sweet sections as preferred.
06 - Top savory bites with cream cheese, cucumber, cherry tomato halves, mozzarella, smoked salmon, prosciutto, or hummus. Garnish with fresh herbs.
