02 - Arrange the King's Hawaiian sweet rolls in the prepared baking dish. Using a sharp knife, cut a small square in the top of each roll and carefully remove a portion of the bread inside, ensuring the bottoms remain intact.
03 - In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined. Generously brush the mixture over the tops and insides of each roll.
04 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth. Add granulated sugar and egg, mixing until the filling is creamy and well blended.
05 - Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each roll cavity, dividing it evenly and ensuring each is generously filled.
06 - Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the cream cheese filling is set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
