Strawberry Overnight Oats Blend (Print)

Creamy oats layered with strawberries, chia seeds, and granola for a wholesome breakfast option.

# Ingredients:

→ Oats Base

01 - 1 cup rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk, dairy or plant-based
03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
04 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds
05 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Fruit

07 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

→ Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup granola
09 - Additional strawberries, sliced, optional

# Directions:

01 - In a medium bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
02 - Gently fold the sliced strawberries into the oat mixture, distributing them evenly throughout.
03 - Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight, allowing the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and reach desired consistency.
04 - In the morning, stir the oats thoroughly. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach desired consistency.
05 - Divide the overnight oats evenly between two bowls or serving jars.
06 - Top each serving with granola and additional sliced strawberries if desired. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Zero morning cooking means you can actually sit down and enjoy your coffee instead of standing over the stove.
  • The texture keeps surprising you, from creamy to crunchy, every single spoonful feels intentional.
  • It doubles as both meal prep and a little gift to your future self when you're running late.
02 -
  • Don't skip the mixing step or the oats will settle into clumps and refuse to soften evenly no matter how long they sit.
  • Adding the granola the night before turns it into a soggy disappointment, so keep it separate until the very last moment.
03 -
  • If you're using plant-based yogurt, choose one with a thicker consistency or your oats might end up too thin by morning.
  • Slice your strawberries fresh the night before rather than earlier in the day, so they hold their shape and don't release too much liquid too soon.
