# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Make a lengthwise slit in each date using a small knife and remove pits if any remain.
03 - Fill each date with about 1 teaspoon of goat cheese, then gently close the date around the filling.
04 - Wrap each stuffed date with a half-slice of bacon, securing the ends underneath or with a toothpick if needed.
05 - Place wrapped dates seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, turning once halfway through, until bacon is crisp and browned.
07 - Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
