01 - 10 ounces elbow macaroni
02 - 2 cups cooked pulled pork
03 - 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

05 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
06 - 1 3/4 cups milk
07 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
08 - 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

10 - 1/2 cup extra shredded cheddar cheese
11 - 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook until just al dente. Drain well and set aside.
02 - In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually pour in milk, whisking constantly until smooth. Simmer until the mixture thickens. Stir in cheddar cheese, mustard if using, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is fully melted and sauce is smooth.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, gently toss cooked pasta with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and the prepared cheese sauce until evenly distributed. Transfer mixture into a greased baking dish.
04 - Scatter additional cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
05 - Bake uncovered in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
