01 - 12 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed

→ Filling

02 - 4.2 oz canned tuna in water, drained
03 - 2 tbsp mayonnaise
04 - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
05 - 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
06 - 1 tbsp finely chopped chives
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Decoration

08 - 24 black olive slices (for eyes)
09 - 24 small capers (for decoration)
10 - 1 small carrot, peeled and finely diced (optional star points)

# Directions:

01 - Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut star shapes from each slice of bread, yielding 24 stars.
02 - Combine tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl; mix until smooth.
03 - Spread a generous spoonful of tuna mixture on half of the bread stars.
04 - Top each filled star with a plain star-shaped bread piece to form sandwiches.
05 - Press two olive slices onto one point of each sandwich for eyes; place a caper at the center of each olive slice.
06 - Use finely diced carrot pieces to embellish the tips of the star points for added detail.
07 - Arrange sandwiches on a platter and serve chilled.
